Big Brother 2012

I tend to only get the urge to post on this blog when something really excites or angers me
or creates a stir within my mind and today something has, therefore I need to unleash the demon within.
I'm a Big Brother fan, always have been and always will be, don't ask me why.... it's like a drug I just can't give up. This years BB has been one of the bitchiest ever, arguments all the time about stupid things, clearly there's a major personality clash going on with most housemates, but generally it makes for good TV so viewers are happy and even more so Channel 5 will be happy.
The reason I'm writing this today is to express how utterly appalled I am by some of the goings on recently, mainly last nights nominations drama. Firstly I think most of the nominations made by the friends and family weren't genuine and were made purely based on who they think their housemate would have nominated, with the exception of a few. Sara's Mam was great, very honest and to the point, as was Luke A's wife, I feel they nominated correctly and fair. Ashleigh's Dad was the most disappointing, how could he not vote for Luke S knowing what he's said about his daughter? He blatantly said that he entered the house knowing he would hook up, it wouldn't last on the outside and that she annoys him....... he's only sticking with her because he feels guilty. Bizarre!
Anyway I've lost my track, I was originally annoyed at something specific but I'm now annoyed at everything else!!
Back on track, what made me so mad to the point of exploding was Becky's reaction to what her Sister quoted from Luke A - firstly I was annoyed that Becky's Sister felt the need to say it in the first place, it's a dirty game to play, if all the other friends took that approach then the show would have to send in guards to stop the fighting. Becky isn't a saint, she's said some horrible nasty untrue things about other housemates, her reaction to the BMI comment was nothing but over the top dramatics, she has made it clear on many occasions that she has no intention of losing weight, she enjoys eating fatty unhealthy foods and loves her size, which is commendable, but you can't then go off on one when someone says you don't respect your BMI?? If Luke A made the comment about Deana or Sara who consciously try to keep healthy and slim then you could agree it was a malicious and unfair thing to say, but it wasn't. I just don't understand why Becky feels the need to react in this ALL the time. She keeps referring to Luke A's age, but at 19 she acts about 12 at times, I know people younger than her that act better and treat people with more respect.

And to top it off, the Soldiers comment...... you have to be pretty dam stupid to think Deana believes she is a real soldier or is purposely trying to insult the troops around the world. It's harmless banter between 3 friends.

I honestly think Luke A and Adam have a bond that will continue to grow outside the house, they have built a friendship that will last a very long time, I can't think of any of the other housemates that will make an effort to remain friends when it's all over, which says a lot really!!
